Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2007 I spent 3 months in Oldenburg, in NW Germany, man thats a great little cityI find it hard to find bad places in Germany, I've seriously fallen in love with that Country. If you ever get the chance to visit Oldenburg, it's highly recommended. There is a street, called Weiss StraBe. It's about a mile or more long, and it's entirely pedestrianised. It's all bars, theme bars. Our favorite was Samms Astro Pott, where your tables were planets, and the seat around them was the ring of saturn. There was also a pirate one, where you sat inside a huge rum barrel and another Im Bett, where your seat was a bed, and the table was a night locker and reading lamp. There were about30 in all, but I can't remember more now, but if you get there, it's only an hour in the train to Holland, and about 40 minutes on the train to Bremen. Couple of good weekends in both those spots too

Well not optically but most of the people are human scum. Just plain stupid and dumb nazis who hunt foreigners and blacks through streets at night and all of this sick stuff. A lot of the younger people I know are usually antifa. I know a lot of them have issues with the Turks but all in all I think Germany is the best country I've ever been to. Patrick67 1 Report post Posted August 9, 2007 Problems with the Turks.... hmm I recall when I was in Berlin during the 2002 World Cup and both Germany and Turkey were in the semi-finals.People were shitting themselves over the posibilities/problems a Germany vs. Turkey final would give the city."Little Istanbul" is like what 300.000 Turks, in a suberb, so all hell would break loose when one "nation" is driving around team celebrating while the other mouns defeat.
