Law Goalie 147 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Mike Mole got 15 games in net for Bridgeport in the A last year, and faired pretty well. He had nobody defending in front of him, and managed to keep the games respectable. Apart from him, I don't recall seeing any of the MTC guys very high up. A few of them are playing in Europe. jjtt99 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 I think a few of them are playing in the East Coat Hockey League as Mike Keenan hooked them up with a Florida affiliate. They hosted a Making the Cut 2 and it was really, really bad. The first one was okay in my opinion.

There was a couple decent players, Franklin MacDonald from Sydney, Nova Scotia, was a pretty good player. Not sure where he is now though, haven't heard anything. tips09 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 i thought the second one was horrible, seemed a little cheesey
Law Goalie 147 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Because Global produced it instead of CBC. The CBC one was by no means slick, but it was fun in a sort of gauche sincerity.
jjtt99 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 I agree with Law Goalie. A friend of mine was a camera man for both and even the players in Making the Cut 2 were laughing at how cheezy the production was getting as they had to act out their little infomercials and plug sponsors along the way. D3nZ 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Before the series Dominic Noel was playing for the Dalhousie Tigers (University Hockey in Atlantic Canada) and I think that after the draft, he played a couple of games in the ECHL with Pensacola and Dayton, he played a handfull of games in the A and now he's in the Central Hockey League. He was always considered a trator over here in french Atlantic Canada for having a verbal agreement with the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleus and then ditching them to go play for an english university (Dalhousie).
