BoDangles 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 Two completely different skates. One will fit right and one won't, going to have to try them each on and see which one is a better fit.I'm talking out of the box, not talking modifacations.
shootnscore19 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 I see, so it comes down to personal preference? One isnt just better than the other?
Cavs019 710 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 If the best pair of gloves in the world had 7 fingers on it and I only had 5 would it still be the best pair of gloves in the world?...In other words, what works for one, might not work for someone else.Edit: There is not one valid point in the post below me. One90's only offer a closer fit if your foot actually fits in the boot, and is definitely not as stiff and is lower cut than the XXXX, allowing for more forward flex. You'll be fine with the LS2P if you go the One90 route as well.
Next Sakic 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 they are basicly for two different skates styles... and if you are used to the vapor 10, i would go with the xxxx. you will like it. the one90 offers a closer fit to your foot. and offers a stiffer boot benefitting a long power stride. the xxxx offers alot of forward flex motion, benefitting a short choppy stride. but if you do get the one90s get rid of the clear tuuks bauer isnt using them anymore and they are to tourionally stiff.. they tend to break easy
shootnscore19 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 thanks a lot for the responses guys. ill try both on and see how it goes. if i go the one90 rout i will for sure take those ugly holders off haha. what were they thinking with those
swede 52 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 hey guys, moving from my vapor10 skates to either the vaporxxxx or one90. any feedback as to the difference between the two? thank you very much.it seems to me like you allready have made up your mind going for a NBH skate. Why is that? You haven't even tried them on yet, how do you know anyone of them will fit?The best thing you can do is to try on every single pair of skates your LHS can offer (in your size of course). Dont go by the brand, go by the fit.

The holders work fine and give you more blade on the ice resulting in more power. And I've never seen one break.
Next Sakic 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2007 Waste of your own money. The holders work fine and give you more blade on the ice resulting in more power. And I've never seen one break.i broke three sets in 4 months. they are to stiff, and my nbh rep told me himself they are to stiff for the boot, and they will not be using laxan on the holders anymore. the only reason you get more balde on the is because the holder is longer by 3 mm. the new holders will be the white ones, that will be able to holder the same runner as the LS power is using now
