Easton Question

Recommended Posts

I recently broke two SE's, i have sent them in but i was just wondering. Does easton ever reject any warranty requests?

Sorry for the question but is the first time i have ever had to go threw this type of deal.

Thanks

I'am sure it will be fine but the one stick broke in a funny position on the stick (about 4 inchs above the fuse line). The other one broke right on the name bar.

I had a similar problem I just boguht a ST and Stealth. The ST broke like 2 weeks and then i bought the stealth prolly a week before and that broke like 3 days after the ST broke. The only difference was i Sent the ST back a couple days before and then sent out the stealth but they were fine with having two broken sticks from the same person.

another thing you can do, assuming you still have your RA number, is check the status of your return at www.eastonsports.com

since easton uses the same warranty system for their bats, it's located in the baseball section. click on that, then click on the bottom, labeled "BAT WARRANTY INFORMATION"

then in the box that shows up, there should be a "if you already have a pending warranty, click here to track it"

Enter your info, and you have your status!

Well the one SE broke about 2 weeks after i had gotten it, then the other SE broke about a week after that. I was unaware that we had to send the sticks into easton. I thought that we just had to go into the store and they would give us the replacement, so after the second SE broke i called my LHS and they said i had to call easton .I was also trying to save $20 by sending them both in at the same time.

You were supposed to write it on the box too.

I didn't put them in a box, I wrapped them in an old bed sheet

I'm sure the folks in Easton's receiving department were thrilled to get that delivery. Definitely a Curb Your Enthusiasm moment.

Very classy. Maybe Easton will send your warranty replacements to you wrapped in dirty underwear and used condoms.

Well come on an, extra $20 to put broken sticks in a box?

I don't know about you guys but for me that is just not worth it.

If the $20 is really setting you back then perhaps expensive composite sticks are a luxury best passed on.

Ha no trust me it's not the $20 that i'am worried about, it's the fact that i'am going to be spending another $20 on broken hockey sticks. For me thats just not worth it. I don't know anyone in the right mind around here that would spend more money, when they are allready pissed that they broke. Like hell I don't care how they arrive there there broken so Easton is just going to be recycling them anyways, and who really cares how i send my sticks in.

Considering it will mean you're getting 2 replacement sticks for the low-low price of the extra $20 for the box and shipping costs, it should have been a no-brainer.

Not for nothing, I can't imagine sticks that show up in an old bed sheet make their way to the top of the pile too fast.

They received my sticks on Monday, and I had received my status of the sticks the same day. And when i pay threw the roof for the sticks ($259.99) CND I exspect to get some quality from them. When two break in a matter of three weeks, when i've never broken a stick before just made me kind of mad.

Also do they ship the sticks back in the bed sheet or in a box?

I suppose next time if i have to go threw this deal, i will ship in a box, since seeing that will make me more ~classier~.

when easton sends you the sticks back, you'll get two seperate boxes, and they'll be good for future broken sticks. i personally cut my OPS's in half, and then use half of the box easton sent me. The last 2 sticks i sent in through UPS i cut right in the middle, and it cost me about 8 dollars.

When in doubt, you can also wrap them in garbage bags. I did that for awhile.
