If it's retail you should easily be able to tell what pattern it is. Take a pic, post it here and within a minute you'll have your answer.

I know the curve, its a forsberg, but I want to confirm its a retail before I bash him, is the stick specs box removable?

Hard to say. If they didn't specify that it was someone's pattern then "pro stock" is a very vague description and they'd be right. It's not uncommon for pros to get retail patterns, though Easton used to still have a nameplate for those too.

the shaft does not have pro stock written on it either and you can see where the serial number once was and that it was removed, plus the seller stated that he bought it himself on ebay and that he only listed it as it was listed to him,

I have a pro stock SE, it does not have the words "pro stock" on the back of the shaft as other pro stocks I've seen. The name bar is right where it should be. If anything the guy may have marked out the name, also, if it was used, the name could have just rubbed off as it has on my prostock SE. I don't think you got scammed, although I don't know how the markings of a retail SE differ.

I often get pro stocks that are marked just like yours, in fact have SE's that look just like yours in my store, pro stocks I ordered from Easton. They blacken the name of the player sometimes and sometimes leave it on. I would guess if a player jumps to another endorsee, they would blacken it out.

Thank you for the response, and I think a saw a camamaleri on ebay a few days back, and I wanted to mnow for shure since I payed duties from the border even tho I only pay 125 for the stick, he marked it as merchandise and at 225$ on the customs form,

probably because he was pissed he dident have it sold for more. I wanted to know if it was pro stock beacause I wanted to know if it was a nhl player stick...

They have blank nameplates...all you have to do is read the UPC code if it is still on the stick. Usually it'll say SYN (pattern) NHL, meaning it is a pro stock.

For the record I am the seller of this stick. I recieved the stick myself via eBay as marked pro stock and decided I did not want it any more.

No deception on my part at all. I sent the stick out (e.g. removed SN and blacked out name plate) like I got it. I too have seen pro stock Easton stuff that does not say so. I was taking the word from the prior seller so maybe that was a mistake on my part.

Also I was not pissed I did not sell the stick for more I was simply following USPS guidelines for shipping sticks to Canada and was trying to be honest. To futher prove this the BIN was $100 which is what it sold for.

I sell the sticks NOT to make a profit but to clean up when I have too many. Profit is not the goal on these. I rarley make any.

In short. Yep this was my stick and since me and the buyer have resloved our differences and I refunded the shipping charges in question.
