NOT GOOD

Recommended Posts

Alright so over my weekend tournament, I broke my 3 month old Easton ST =[ (moment of silence please)... Anyways in search for a stick i was recomended to get either the eason se or rbk 7k trying to find something new. so i went to my lhs and checked out both sticks figuring that the se isnt very durable compared to the st or rbk 7k, i go with the sick-kick. i get everything good and taped up before my game and i notice it is an extremely heavy and terrible stick to stick handle. wow-wee ive been known to dangle and i felt like i was a 3 year old swatting and losing the puck every time i touched it. HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED THIS WITH THEIR RBK SICKKICK? IF SO HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO GET USED TO?

Did you shoot your arms up with nova cane when you bought it? It's noticably heavier than the SE when picked up in the store, probably around the same weight as an ST. Hit the gym if the weight is bothering you that much.

Personally I go for the rbks because of their weight. I suffer from the 3 year old hands when I use the super light stick. It just varies from person to person. That being said, after being comfy with an Easton stick, why not just stick with Easton?

Jeez....... If you guys think ANY of these one pieces are heavy, you obviously never played with a wood or aluminum stick.

Get a Sher-Wood 5030....

Best stick EVER made!!!

A friend of mine went to an ECHL camp last season and they wouldn't let him use his Easton OPS. He struggled with the twig they forced him to use in camp.

Suprised you had such a problem going from the ST to the 7k, I have both and they are pretty similar sticks to me, weight and feel. I don't consider either top end performance, but a good mix of performance and durability. You should know after 3-4 games if the stick will ever work for you.

When I was with my team in the E the players used whatever they wanted when they were at camp. We had guys show up from all over on tryouts and they brought there own stuff with them. When you are being evaluated on a tryout you should be using what you are comfortable with. Then if they made the team we would give them a RBK/CCM stick of their choice to use.
