i got a chance to play with a Warrior Shogun the other day... it's below the Kronik, MacDaddy and Dolomite within the Warrior line, but more than any other of Warrior's twigs, the Shogun played most like the ST. anyone have a chance to test it out or pick one up? for those like me who absolutely LOVED the ST and were considering a Warrior, you might wanna give the Shogun a try.

once again, i appreciate the feedback people have been giving on this thread, and for keeping it on topic!

i know this is wierd, but my vote goes to the synergy 300 int. that thing is cheap and it has a softer feel, it's also very flexy so my slapshots are rockets with it.

there are two guys on my Level B Men's league team playing with the 300, and they can attest to it being one of the best sticks they've ever played with. it's pretty cool to see a lower-end, predominantly fiberglass twig get some positive feedback.

the rbk 9k-o....best balanced stick i have ever used....yes i have one...

UGH X 2, that thing is hardly "balanced" and just might be the most gimmicky 1 piece I have ever seen.

Best one piece overall I would have to vote the original grip synergy (gold). That thing lasted me 6+ months of playing 6-7 times/ week and i normally get 45 days max out of 1 pieces playing 3 times/week. The stick had great feel, responsive shots, good balance and not overly light, but still light.

Best low kick stick I have used would have to be the Warrior Starskie/dolomite. This stick is one of those sticks that you can casually fire the puck and shoot just as hard as when you really lay into one! I remember shooting slapshots from center ice that were hitting the back of the net with force still with that stick!

Also, the original black vapor XX stick was a great overall stick too, good balance, feel, kick (my opinion on the kick may be biased because I went with a slightly lower flex on this stick).

Best new school stick (IMO) is the ST/ST grip sticks. Once again, IMO opinion, they are the only newer style sticks that don't break often and easily.

I have absolutely hated all CCM sticks that i've tried. I know that tons of people love 'em and will disagree with this, but in my experience the darn things have zero feel and no low kick point at all. Once again, just my opinion. I will say this however, the darn things are tanks as far as durability (the old school V110, I knew guys who played with those for 2 years!).

Lastly, I once had a "6k" aka 7k OPS pro stock stick that I thought had a great feel in the hands and with the puck. Very well balanced too.

Original Synergy Grip gets my nod overall

**I forgot, I havent used the XXX lite however if its anything like the shafts (which I have heard that the two are pretty similar) then it would get a thumbs up as well. Incredible kick on shots, good feel in the hands as well.

Also,I've never used one but I know a lot of really good players with cheap budgets that have said that they loved the 300 not just for price but as far as performance/durability as well. Same thing with the old school vapor V/VI/VII (I cant remember which exact one it was, roughly $100 retail, came out around the time of the original xx) back in the day

'05 black/silver Easton Stealth. Great feel, great flex. Wonky durability though. I had one last me over a month, and one break the first time I got it on the ice. Infact the first time that stick at touched a puck.

But anyways, my vote is '05 Stealth.

I've had the synergy 300 for at least a year now and been like flex it it every day once i got and play around with my equipment, very flexy but the blade is getting really soft.

ok, I'll bite. The xn10 or the R8 OPS. I like them both, but to this point it seems as though the xn10 kicks a little better... I've used the xn10 more at this point though.
