TPS Response Lite Pro Stock

Recommended Posts

I tried searching for this, but didn't find any threads that really talked about the pro stock tps response lite ops. I am not talking about the nice nad shiney "pro" series of sticks that TPS has out there on the retail shelves along with the "Perry" and "Afi" gloves. I am talking about the pro return Response Lite ops. Has anyone tried them? I bought one the other day, but have not cut it or taken it on the ice. Any feedback concerning flex, blade stiffness and durability would be much appreciated. For those living in Vancouver, there are a ton of them at the Sports Exchange on Burrard. Not sure if any member here works there, but you guys are awesome! I love my TPS Avery pro-stock R8 lite mitts!

I had one. I liked it alot while it lasted. The blade split down the middle. Durability wise it was pretty good. Lasted longer than my SL. Still kind of disappointed it didn't last longer. Performance wise it has been my favorite stick yet.

Hey got one from them, they did a good job finding me what I was looking for (forsberg whip) right on the money. The stick it self is a nice stick good feel, nice kick, feels like a tank, the blade is stiff and hasn't had any break down at all. I still like the feel of easton's better but not by much and for $125 damn good deal. Oh ya the thing is lite and very well balanced alot like the se.

it was a Bellows

I don't have a prostock r8 lite but i'd imagine they are basically the same as the stock. The stick is my favourite one piece ever and ive used pretty much everything. AlsoDurability wise i found it to be good for a top of the line stick.

Any idea what curves/flexes they have?

Bought an unnamed reg flex response lite. Lots of patterns and flexes too choose from but there aren't alot of whip flexes out there.

stiff flex thomas vanek righty

no complaints so far, durability is good and balance and performance is right up there with most top 'o' the line sticks

Saw an Andy McDonald Response Lite the other day. Intermediate flex! (at least that's what I figure "I" means and it was incredibly whippy)

I had a couple of the older ones and really liked them and just got two new ones this week. I don’t know if there any different or just a new paint scheme compared to my last ones. I have really liked them all and they have been very durable.

I was trying to sell or trade a pro stock RL (Foote pattern) with no takers, so I decided, what the hell, and used it.

I feel foolish I didn't use it right from the get go. The stick has been a treat.

I've only been using it for a little less than 3 weeks now, but I can't stop raving about it to anyone that will listen. I'm sure Buzz is sick of hearing about it already.

The blade is really thin, and took some time to get used to, but the stick is really crisp, perfectly balanced, and my shots seem harder. The balance is really remarkable. TPS seems to have that aspect dialed.

The stick is listed at 435 grams, but the exceptional balance makes it feel even lighter. By comparison, my Stealth (400 grams) feels like a tank compared to the TPS. That is no exaggeration.

I have a bertuzzi pro stock response lite...by far my favourite stick i've ever used. I grabbed one after i sent my one90 back for warranty, and when i get it back it'll be staying in the room until the response breaks

I got a Nilson pro stock in whip, and it's light, and it's been a treat. Just picked up a Nichols pattern one with the rubber coating. Fells like a tank, but looking forward to try it out. Best thing is they are all made in Canada, none of this offshore stuff.

Funny, Budro, this listing is listed by the store here in Vancouver that is selling a ton of TPS Pro Stock one I am talking about. They also have a ton of NBH and RBK pro-returns as well. I believe the TPS Bertuzzi curve is a much bigger curve than the one shown in this ebay listing....
