Reaper 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 I am having trouble finding a shaft with a flex that low.I was interest in the XXX shaft but the lowest it comes in is a 77 flex, and I am sure I will need to cut it down to match my height which will most likely end up making it a 90 or something.Get an Intermediate stick/shaft, not a Senior Stick/shaft. You probably won't have to cut it down and it should give wrist shots a nice snap to them.
McDougalfaschnitzer 32 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 I always use a stiffer stick when I play roller. That's just my preference though.
Wolfpack_1986 154 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 Also, check out the Int. One90 shaft because it's 67 flex, though presumably longer than normal int. shafts.negative. it's 49", shortest intermediate shaft out there, and one of the lowest flexes as well. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 I always use a stiffer stick when I play roller. That's just my preference though.Same here. I'm 6'1 230ish and I use an 85 on ice and a 110 in roller. I can use both on ice but the 85 on ice seems to work better on ice.
Patrick67 1 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 I use the same flexes for Ice and Icecourt/sportscourt but stiffer sticks for concrete wood epoxy and asphalt. It's the friction that does a difference for me.
