I was looking for skates, and found their store, they claim the lowest prices on the internet, but do not show them due to MAP (minimum advertising price), so have $0.01 dollar prices to get the price and quantity list. Feedback is pretty much all positive, but was wondering if anyone here had some first hand experience with them.

Yup. Exactly what I need. According to them I can wear a bauer size 9.5. Funny thing is that when I was fitted at my LHS, I couldn't fit my fat dogs past the toebox in a 9.5.

Based on their prices on the non-MAP skates, they are pretty much in line with all the other online stores, about $30-50 less than what a LHS sells skates for.

When you decide that you want the skates he sends you an invoice through Paypal that way the transaction is not done through eBay. This way he can avoid having to pay the final value fee which would be about $15 or so on a pair of $400 skates. Pretty clever, but as a long time eBay seller I can't say that I agree with that. Not playing by the rules.

He also wouldn't be applicable to any eBay fraud rules, either.... I for one, have been ripped off on eBay once or twice, so I won't take those types of chances.

I definitely would not go for an offer like that. Once a transaction moves away from ebay the chance for fraud increases 500%.

got a reply and you guys are right not worth it for the xxv. price he gave me "We sell the XXXX's for $492.95 and the XXV for $269.95" the xxv sell for that price at hockey monkey so no deal there and that the one i was looking to get as for the xxxx i don't know how much they retail for around in the us but here it around 600$ so it seem like a good discount but why no discount on the xxv
