rollerskater92 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 For authentics, what number is what size, like what size are 46 and 48, medium, large, etc.?
LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 Think of jersey sizing as being comparable to European pant sizing - 46 = ~XS, 48 = ~S...etc.
joelnmich 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 I usually like XXL Jerseys to play in, usually a 54 or 56 fits good with gear depending on how it's cut through the sleves.
Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 It's the measurement around the chest - like a suit's jacket
Rustpot 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 Measure a comfortable jersey armpit to pit (laid flat, in inches), multiply by two, bam, pro size.I have a few goal cut 64 jerseys, nice and roomy except they're made for a 5' guy that's got a XXXL C/A. If only player cut jerseys came that tent-like.

Rustpot 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 That would be a 46" jersey. Letter sizing is too variable depending on how "medium" a manufacturer wants a "medium" to be. By using numbers that are actual measurements they avoid the confusion of letter sizes.Measure a shirt/jersey you have, see if it's close to 46. Gauge how big it is from that. LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2007 Probably fits like an XS (where jerseys are concerned).Like Ogie said, the measurement is done around the chest (at the widest point). If you've got a flexible measuring tape, use that. If not, wrap a string around yourself and then use a standard tape measure to figure out the width (in inches).
