Easton Synergy 2 blade into a Dolomite shaft

Recommended Posts

i'm in a pinch, as i broke my Kovalev blade this morning, and nobody around here carries Warrior shafts or blades.

has anybody had any compatibility issues with doing this?

i appreciate the reply, but i had just heard complications from folks installing RBK/CCM blades and needing tape to ensure a proper fit. i don't want to deal with any of that.

You have to do it quite often when using Easton blades in Easton shafts, so having to use a bit of tape with another brand isn't all that strange. If it doesn't fit absolutely perfectly, a small strip of tape is a minor price to pay in order to have your stick perform normally.

That's really strange. I've never had any issues with Dolo shafts and other brand blades. Using a strip of tape was a must, but I've never had any actual fitting problems.

Yeah, even my (one-piece)Dolo's blade broke over the summer and I just heated up the hossel, popped out the old blade and stuck in a SynergyII blade from an old stick I had sitting around..Put a strip of tape aswell, but I do that anyways on any stick..But I'd give it a shot.

Had to jam my Synergy II blade into my dolo. Fit VERY snugly

i heated it up, and it just seemed too snug for comfort. last time i forced a blade into a shaft (Sherwood 9950 woody into an Ultralite), it ended up cracking right above the hosel.

i ended up sticking the Synergy 2 into my R2 Xn10.
