What stick to get?

Recommended Posts

I'm hungry, but I had a decent lunch and don't want to get full before dinner. I am thinking of something filling but not heavy. Maybe some jalapeno poppers from Carl's Jr. Anyone?

I find a simple boiled pasta with cheese sprinkled on does the trick. Cheap, easy, don't gotta leave the couch.

If you're not at home, chain restaurant dollar menus are always simple, but for the calorie minded a pain. The next best option would be to go shove a knife in your gut. You won't be hungry for a while, and all you need is something sharp!

As for the stick to get, I find the Synergy 300/350 to be FAR superior to the Stealth S17. I used the Stealth and just found it to be too heavy and that weird oval shape twisted so much under load, I kept shooting into the Zamboni garage!

Yeah, not at home and was thinking of picking something up on the way home. The lunch room here is stuffed with cup o noodles, maybe I can get a couple of those and have something like that. I don't feel like treading around campus to the cafeteria to get a stale sammich or burnt pizza.

I'm not a fan of fried food in the car. Next best bet is just a Subway or something. 6" of sub won't kill your appetite for dinner in several hours, and the small sub is easy on the wallet.

Not sure of all the eateries with drive-thru in Alaska, but when I go for food on the go I usually for for a sub and forgo the messy lettuce that will live in your floormats for a year.

Edit: The campus cornerstore sells grilled cheese, small burgers, subs, fries, salads, chicken fingers, as well as the usual smattering of prepackaged jazz.

I want to check out the S17 as soon as it gets released at my LHS.

If I were you, I would pick up the Warrior Kronik. I've personally try the stick and it's AMAZING. You get a great feel for the puck with this stick and it's extremely light. If I had the big bucks to spend on a stick right now, I'd be all over it.

I think Mack has the best recipe for stopping these.

It didn't seem to help in this case as you post was number 13.
