Slickshot Shooting pad

Recommended Posts

SlickShot2007-LG.jpg

Im thinking about getting this for some summer/backyard shooting practice. Has anyone used the SlickShot Shooting Pad? Does it feel like the ice in terms of the puck's movement for stickhandling/shooting? Is it as durable as they make it out to be?

Also, if you guys have used something similar or better can you recommend; as well as post a link?

sweet goalie, but i dont understand the glove side hole

That's representing you ripping the catch open.

Could you not just use a few spare (or new) all-sport tiles like Sport Court or the like? That should cost less than half of the Slickshot. Although, ice pucks don't work so well on Sport Court.

Now I see what you yanks are doing wrong.. you are not supposed to try and put the puck in the goalie's glove :P

on a side note I actually did manage to shoot the puck hard enough to carry the goalies hand back into the net.. mind you I was 5 "10 and 170 pounds when I was 12

I've got a 4' x 8' sheet of white tileboard from Home Depot. It's got a little room to maneuver the puck. My son and I can practice (short) one timers even. A little spray furniture polish keeps it slick. It doesn't last forever, and needs to be kept out of the rain, but for the cost/benefit, it's great

I have something like that, it isn't blue, but it works well. It's not quite slick as ice so it's a little easier to get under the puck, but it helps.
