nni 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 i was looking at another thread and i was a bit jealous that some of the people here have 40+ game seasons, but this thread brings me back. i play a fall season and a spring season, so if you make the finals, the offseason is about 3 weeks. so i dont have a true offseason and just play all year long. :)
Shark#81 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 Competition waterskiing. It's like weightlifting but in an incredible setting and too much fun. Such a rush. The last couple of years I skied like 30 days straight. There is something to working out in water that really builds strong muscle fibers, but doesn't tax them as much. Sort of like what steriods do.A lot of pro Canadian skiers play hockey, like world champ Jaret Lewellyn. Very related to skating.I played summer hockey once and didn't like it. I think a break is a good thing.

thejackal 46 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 ive played 3vs3 hockey a couple of summers once a week and that was good fun also. for a player like me (who's not very creative) it really helps my vision on the ice.
