anyone know what Heatley wears for a shield... looking for a big shield like that after a near scare

heatly's is custom, but you can look on ebay. There are also some pretty big retail shields out there if you can find them around.

Closest you'll find...someone on here used a Dremel too and cut off the vents to make it look like Heatley's. But honestly, if you are afraid after whatever incident, go for some full face protection.

Covers the entire face, but you still have only a visor protecting your eyes so you still have clear vision. And plus, you won't end up having a Danny Heatley grill. :D

That's not what Alfredsson wears. He just wears a regular straight cut Oakley. He had a straight with vents back when he wore his 690, but that was a while ago, and he never wore an aviator.

Heatley's is huge. Almost a piece of arena glass cut and shaped to a visor. Some might call it plexiglass.
