Custom S15 Skates

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if Easton does custom S15's? If so, do you go directly to Easton, contact your local rep, or go through a local pro shop? If they do customs, anybody know what options they have available? Thanks

What do you necessarily want done? There really arent that many options for the S15 if you arent a professional player.

I'm guessing that if he's asking MSH, he doesn't know the right people yet. ;)

Under-rated!

I will just go out on a limb here.... if you want to see if they offer custom and how you would go about getting it done if so..... I'm going to say you should probably ask Easton.... I could be wrong here....

Ask your pro shop to ask the rep. You can probably get a custom tongue, liner, and foam package, maybe even eyelet spacing if youre lucky. Give it a whirl, whats the worst that can happen?

Yea I've had two pairs and on both pairs the glue hasn't held anything together. That is mainly what I am looking for, a pair of S15s that the glue holds up on and that don't break. I've had 3 pairs of 1500s and 2 pairs of S15s and all have broken.

Tried that, I have the Bauer bumps on the back of my feet and the only skate that hasn't given me problems with them is the Easton. Tried One90s, 9Ks, and am now in XXXXs.

I have the same problem. I have had 5 pairs of Synergy skates and tried going back to Bauer and CCM/RBK and started getting bad blisters. But I got a pair of Graf 707 a while and have not had any problems with them. The difference in stiffness took about two practices to get used too but I can switch between them and my Synergy 1500 no problem.

Its a brutal shame that the S15's are having such problems. The local play it again sports was blowing out all thier high-end skates ( except the vapor XXXX) for 50% off, so the S15 would have been $264. The only problem is that I had talked to the owner as well as a few employees and they said they have had about 10 or so pair returned due to glue blowouts, toe blow outs, eyelets popping off, etc. They are a super-light skate, but they need to work on thier durabilty over at easton.
