2007 Heisman Trophy

Tim Tebow wins it. I kinda figured it would be him since he was the only media darling that was kept in spotlight all year long. Im just glad it wasn't colt brennan, he had good numbers, but against basically high school teams. Mcfadden had a decent year, but too many unimpressive games.

lol mack. yeah, i hate seeing heisman hopefuls take injuries. (im a louisville fan, so brohm had a good year, but last year was better, and it was tough when michael bush went down for us in game 1 last year). But i was rooting for dixon and his 987 different uniform combos. :D

Not really, no. Given the way Oregon rose (rather unexpectedly) through the rankings, and the way they crashed, it's gotta be painful.

Best player in the nation? Tebow is excellent, but I'd have to say a healthy Dixon takes the cake. Unfortunately, Dixon got hurt at the worst possible time - and he, as an individual AND as an Oregon Duck, suffered a lot.

Tim Tebow will be a bust in the NFL.

If he has half a brain, and I haven't seen any interviews with him, he won't be. He appears to be much more accurate than most running quarterbacks. Obviously NFL teams won't want him running as much but he has a lot of the traditional quarterback tools in addition to quick feet.

He's not the brightest bulb in the bunch or at the very least not articulate at all. The interviews I've seen in a sit-down session include 4 "ums" to every word it would seem.

As for what he'll be in the NFL, he'll be a bigger Alex Smith. Seeing him in some high school games made me think he'd be better than he is. Not that he's not good, it's just that his his potential as an NFL QB is being retarded by that system. He won't even be a running QB in the NFL that way as he runs into contact and that would last one series on Sunday.
