It sure is ugly, but its not part of the ID program. It is just a made-to-order color in the catalogue.

Ugly? to be onest I like them alot. A couple of us on the school team are talking about buying them next year to match our jersey's, they match perfect, hopefully they fit good.

It's just their new color combo thing...like Cascade. It was advertised in the catalogs and stuff, posted somewhere on this site. Solid black would have looked way better. If they wanted to do the two color thing, switch to RBK and have red inserts. Otherwise, it's ugly.

Yeah i agree with the fact that if they are going with red to use rbk with red inserts but too bad they have to use nike bauer. All black looks pretty good from the pics i have seen

All black looks really good. It's not really a shame that they need to use Nike Bauer...they do have pretty good equipment...and it even got us some gold medals over the years. Hope to see another Team Canada win this year.

The only reason i am saying its too bad is because i think that the rbks with red inserts would look better just pp though and im definately not saying that they have bad equipment as 50% of my gear is nike bauer. Go Canada

the new foam combo sounds interesting though, but i'll stick to my 5500.
