Is the new CCM Vector 10 the same stick as the CCM Catapult 10.0?

Check out the '08 CCM product catalog thread... I believe it's mentioned that the '08 V10 just has a new paintjob.

That thread does say that the 10.0 does just have a new paint job, but the new 10 that CCM sent me is definitely not a 10.0 and appears to be very similar to a Sickick.

i noticed that alot of guys including the usual ones are using the Vector 10 w/ the new paint job...but i didnt see any on the U+ sticks out...are they U+ painted like V10's or is no one using the U+

I wish you could see the stick CCM sent me because it has the 08 paint job, but it is definitely not the same as the 07 V10 that I sent back to CCM. As previously mentioned when I compare it to a Sickick there appears to be no difference...

So, what's the verdict on this? I am close to purchasing an '08 V10.0 Catapult Grip from the Monkey, but want to make sure that is what I am getting. JR seems to be the man and always knows what's up, so I'm taking his word that the '07 and '08 models are the same just with different graphics.

Maybe only the warranty replacements are the Sickicks? Albeit that is odd....

if you sent in a 10.0 i though you got a sick kick back. CCM might just be repainting the sick kicks to look like 10.0s so people won't get mad when they see a sick kick instead of a 10.0

If you can find the '06 8.0, it's practically the same v130. *hint* those shafts have recently been on sale.

i dont know about that one. i was at the pro shop today and touched the 8.0 and its way different from the v130.

I later went home and bought a v130 and v120 shafts :)

f it since the blades with tear away anyways. Stick a woodie in those and im good.

It's been upgraded, the earlier 8.0 you get the closer it is. The original v130 was incredibly undurable, it took about half a season for them to fix the issue. They had a limited release of the new v130. Next year was the debut of the new vector line. The v130 was modified slightly and changed into the 8.0 and the 10.0 came out. With 07 the stick changed again but the shaft is as close as you're going to get to the v130.

The blade is completely different, I believe the 10.0 has the modified v130 blade but don't quote me on that.
