Gloves: Vapor XX's vs Vapor XXX's

It's my senior year in high school and I want to buy some glove that I can use for the years to come... I am currently using Vapor XXX's and love how loose they feel. I've read that the XX's fit tighter, but wasn't sure. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

Just found some Vapor Pro's, anyone have any experience with these?

If you're talking about the Vapor Pros they have at Hockey World/Perani's... fit is identical to the XXXs.

The XX's do fit tighter than the XXX's and will have a more durable palm in the Stretch Palm.

if you want loose, look at eagles, MIAs, NBH 4 rolls, xxx, or maybe wait for the new farrel gloves, they look like a pretty standard 4-roll glove.

Ugh. I could not get used to that stretch palm on the XX's. I hated it.

are the flex lock thumbs the 4 rolls like the ones on the vapor glove?

XX most definitely don't fit tighter than XXX. The XXX has a slightly modified cuff which gives a little more wiggle room in the wrist over the XX, but the palm, forehand and fingers fit slightly tighter than the XX. The stretch palm does last quite a long while if you can get used to the feel of it though.

Very close... The vapor XX and XXX are roughly the same(typical QC issues) in the fingers and palm. The cuff flairs out giving that loose feeling.

The Vapor XV is the XX glove with a nash palm.

I have vapor XXX's currently and I love them Their good quality and have a nice feel.

Big fan of XXX pro stocks. Nothing better than the feel of a XXX with durasoft palms and gussets.

i've had both gloves and i personally like the xxx's better. they are a little bit more roomy than the xx's and the palm is not as thick and feels better when gripping the stick. however i have the xx's now and i bought them because the palm lasts longer. with my xxx's the palms averaged about 8 months before they began to rip, and i have had my xx's for over a year and the palm is still strong, so if you want a longer lasting glove go with the xx's, if you want the better feeling glove go with the xxx's

I can certainly vouch for mine. Over a year on painted concrete inline and the palms are just fine. More impressive to me though is the durability of the exterior shell. Most synthetics aside from Tufftek usually shred on my after a year on concrete.....the XX's are doing admirably well.

I've had both gloves and prefer the tighter fit of the Vapor XX's. The stretch palm is also a plus, has a great feel to it in my opinion.
