Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2008 Hey guys, I ordered/won some items off ebay in late Nov and mid Dec. Both have been shipped from the USA via standard US Post and havn't arrived yet. One is from a seller I have bought from before and the items I previously won arrived in 2 weeks. Both sellers have assured me they have sent the items (of course). I remember someone at my old job saying that this time of year most things get sent to Germany before they arrive here. My Sprungs for eg were bought in Nov 06 and arrived Feb 07. pg-1000 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Hi guys, anyone know roughly how long it would take a shipment (shorts) to come from Hockey Monkey to the UK via USPS.They made a balls up of my order and sent the wrong size, so they are sending the replacement by USPS so I don't get charged customs again.I was told they were dispatched on 21st February and haven't yet recieved them, so was wondering if anyone else has any experience on this. It also helps a lot if you pay via paypal, as you can bitch to paypal about not receiving the stuff and they will work to get you a refund. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I know my cousin moved out there because we had the VAT system in Ireland, so was familiar with it, and got a good accounting job out there.If thats the case and there is a declared value on your shipping/customs tags, they may be waiting on you to pay VAT. This happened my mother when I sent stuff to her for christmas. The useless Irish post office never contacted her, just held the goods until she contacted them (about 5 weeks later after I wondered why she didn't comment on the lovely gifts we had bestowed on her!!!!)So, check your local post office see if there are parcels waiting for you.
