Difference between S11 and S17 OPS

I am looking into getting a new S11 stealth. Seems like a good buy at $120 but whats the draw backs from the s17. Whats the weight and are they made of the same material. Has anyone on the site used one yet? I know some of you get the first junp on the new shit. Seems realy clos to the same stick from what Ive read. Figured JR might know this one.

S11 falls just below the New ST and uses a thin taper with the similar elliptical profile as the S17. They use fibreglass instead of kevlar in the construction and (if you care) it weight 100g's more than the S17 (515g)

that explains the yellow S17's floating around the NHL i assume. (most likely S17 painted as S11)

or their just custom paint jobs for guys on yellow teams (savard, axelson are two that i can think of off the top of my head)

also, i notice that they only have this stick in grip, is it just that greatskate hasn't put it up, or is their no clear model?

I've also seen Getzlaf's in orange and a guy from Michigan State had a green one..... It would be cool if Easton came out with something equivalent to the NBH i.d. program?

pros can get them in whatever color they want, colleges can get team specific colors as well.

Wow, thanks for the clarification. I'm mildly confused why they invented an S11, the SC6 weighs 525 g, which is 10 more than the s11 and the sc6 is only $79.

I guess the s11 is intended to be in between, but is this all there is? Are they not inventing a new Synergy or other Stealth too??

The S11 has the elliptical profile, the SC6 does not. That is it's sole purpose for existance. That, and it's about $100 bucks less than the S17.

S11 is a mid-end Stealth. In previous years Stealth was a standalone stick - now it has the S11 and S5 to support it.

It'll fall in the range that was mentioned, and should do very well against its competition.
