I can't chirp on the 7K v the 7K sickick but the 7k v 7v is this:

the 7v is a Vector 8.0 thats painted like a sickick whereas the 7k is actually a sickick.

Which search terms do you suggest?

I tried "7k difference" and other combinations and kept getting like 200 results.

Hope you feel better. I heard gargling cayenne pepper works wonders.

The old 7k pro-lites totally rock. I was advised against going for a sickick.

I liked the first 7k pro-lite I got so much, I immediately bought another. People really like the feel on them too.

btw there are a few different 7Vs out there.

Label - underside label reads

7v - 8.0

7v* - 8.0

7v - 8.9

7v* - 8.9

7v - 10.0

7v* - 10.0

What we've determined is obviously the 8.0 means the 8.0 shaft, the 10.0 means 10.0 shaft. The * means different blade type.

That was.. uh.. profound. Almost as if you were reading straight from the Canterbury Tales.

I'd like to invite you to post a link to these alleged "old threads" here that contain all the answers I am looking for along with your concise, logical, keyword search string that led you to said threads.

Good luck, young jedi.

See, what you do is conduct a search with the criteria that you think may help. Then you scroll through the thread titles that the search brings up, looking for titles that may indicate what you're looking for. Then, read the threads. If that doesn't work, try step 1 again.

Or, I can just make a new thread, get the info I was looking for from the new responses... and in the mean time, still get to make fun of you for adding absolutely nothing of substance whatsoever. Congrats.

gotta say, it can be annoying trying to search for something when any relevant identifying terms are under the minimum character limit. there's a lot of hockey equipment with short model numbers.

and, at least he tried to search. to me that's a lot better (and less annoying) than subsequent responses from pseudo-mods commanding someone to search first.

finally, to lockitup - search "sickick" rather than "sick kick" and i believe that you will find what you're looking for. or it will at least narrow it down better!
