What do you do with a $165 stick you used once and don't like?

If was bought less than 30 days ago, snap that bitch and get a new one under warranty. Your closest dealer might even give you a new one and send it back for you. Maybe for a $20. It is good to become friends with the Warranty guy at your store. Or girl.

Umm... no. Your an idiot

You sir, are the idiot. Check his title and look at who you were talking to.

That gives him the right to give people wrong advice to do something illegal?

WTF, encouraging fraud. Who GAF who he is or claims to be, fraud is fraud. I guess then it's OK for me to screw up every pair of Graf skates I have left in inventory because they are not selling and return them for credit. The quality of this board is going down and down each day. Come on MODs do the right thing, will you. Not policing this kind of garbage is ridiculous.

You're horrible at picking up subtle sarcasm.

I ran my new grafs over with my car so I could return them. Seemed like a good idea, used the store credit to buy Vapors. *sigh*

BTW, I agree with Jimmy. Coming from an "authority" in the industry, that is unacceptable. If it's a 14 year old kid, then we(as regular members) just inform him about fraud and the typical deal... But this is coming from an employee at graf, he should know better. It's not my position to say he should be disciplined(or how to handle the statement, if at all) and I'm not going to pretend it is my place but those are my two cents.

What a complete asshole. Telling someone to snap a competitors product so they can screw them. Way to portray your own company in a positive light.

I'm thinking (no, hoping) that GrafPro55 intended that as a sarcastic post. Let's give the guy who is posting with his real name and company affiliation the benefit of the doubt on that.

That's the problem with sarcasm on a MB. It's not always totally understood.

I would've caught the sarcasm if he put a ' ' face at the end of his post, but I don't know....

Lets give graf guy a chance to post up a response before you denounce everything graf. As far as the stick is concerned, don't break it thats stupid whether it's illegal or not. First give it a chance a few more times, you might like it, if not then take the hit and sell it on ebay. Trust me I know the pain, I bought an S17 and couldn't get used to the 100flex, used it six times and ended up selling it on ebay. Lost $50 on it, but hey thats the price you pay when you experiment.

PS: there is such a fine line between whats fraud and not fraud. My buddy had a NBH xxx-lite and on his second use, stepped on his own stick during a fight, the thing snapped. called NBH and got a new stick. Technicly the warrenty is for MANUFACTURES DEFECT. He said someone else stepped on it (not to look like a retard)and they still sent him a new stick. It was definitly not NBH fault he stepped on his own stick. RBK and NHB are huge and I'm sure they wouldn't care if they sent someone a stick for stupid reason.

If you don't find a home for your stick, my dad's vegetable garden is full of hockey sticks to keep his tomato plants straight. It would be well used :D .

over here we call them "garden posts". Normally we use the broken wood sticks, they are great becauase they don't rot like cheap wood posts.

you should see my moms garden.

stick city. well over a grand out there now.

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder...I guess sarcasm is in the eye of the reader...

But...we really should get this thread back on topic.

This thread is done. There's a number of options

- Attempt to trade with a friend

- Attemt to sell it (locally or online)

- Put it away and try it later

The suggestion to break it is not a bright one. It's fraud, and only reflects poorly on the person. This issue has been well covered in the past.
