Most "forgivng" composite blade?

Recommended Posts

Looking at my CNT and the new S17, the blades are rediculously stiff and not forgiving at all when receiving passes or doing other things. What composite blades are the most forgiving besides the VDS? TPS R2/R8?

i have heard the SE blades have an air pocket between the two carbon stiffeners in the blade

i loved the feel of that blade, im not one who likes the feel of the stealth blades, but the SE blade feels great to me

CCM pro stock "thick blade"

Retail, either the VDS or the '07 8.0. The 10.0 Cat is pretty forgiving too but not as much as the 8.0.

Speaking purely in terms of OPSs.

I have the 2007 Vector 10.0 Catapult. I agree with TBLfan; the blade is very soft. It's like playing with wood, which is great for me since I was having trouble getting used to the stiffer OPS blades. The puck kept bouncing off my Vapor XXX blade...

Air pocket = broken blade.

45 caliber Ballistik blade has a very good "wood" feel to it.

oh, sherwood RM9's are forgiving as well

And flimsy and weak IMO....

My RM9 is a tank. Then again another one I got the blade broke on. Hit and miss with those things.

I was only refering to the RM9 blade, not the OPS.

unfortunately i believe that technology is at a point where you get one or the other, you get a ridiculously stiff blade that wont torque but has slightly reduced feel, or you get a blade that sacrifices its durability a bit to provide a "better" feel
