easton s15 shaft/blade combo

Recommended Posts

hey guys, just wondering if anyone has tried or heard anything about the new easton s15 shaft/blade combo. I loved my ZBubble and i am thinking maybe I want to try a tapered 2piece since I havent found a one piece I have really like yet (I tried the Sher-wood RM7 and TPS Response C4).

I haven't used a shaft blade combo since I used a TPS gold aluminum, but I figured I would give a newer one a shot. I grabbed the S15 shaft and S15 blade (sakic), and I ended up liking it. I know it's the z bubble, but the shaft feels a lot different from what I felt. Shots, passes, one timers are pretty good right off the bat. The shaft is pretty damn whippy, but it's a fast whip so the stick still isn't flexing while I'm in my follow through. So far the only downside has been the blade. My shots were fine and passing/feel was good, but I used the stick twice, with only one session of serious shooting, and the blade looks like this:

Now I'm trying to think of what other options I should go with for a blade, at the same time hoping it won't affect my shot too much.

Anyone else try it out?

Is the s15 blade not just a z-carb/focus flex? Maybe try out an ST blade, the kickpoint in the shaft would be lower in that case
