My Rolston has a chip in the heel which exposed some sort of funky looking layering I have not seen in a regular synergy. The blade seemed like it was made out of diffent mateirals. The small chip that Mack's Morris had in the tip of the blade had the same wierd layering ...

Pretty interesting either way.

so it's more the reg ops with a fused blade?

I dont see a fuse point anywhere but there seems to be info out there that says otherwise. Maybe I can find out for sure.
