I saw the PPF gloves at my LHS today. They definitely fit a hair looser than the X72's. Overall, they were very nice gloves.

Just to make sure I got that last post right - they have the pouches in them, but they don't come with the padding to put in the pouches? Do you have to buy that seperately?... Or do they now not have the pouches at all?

The gloves in the link look NOTHING like CP94s.

I have to respectfully disagree. PRO STOCK CP94s and PRO STOCK PPFs can look different from a PPF or a CP94 that the hockey shop, or other resellers, may have. I have seen both on ebay that look strikingly similar to that glove, but I would have to say it s either a CP94 or a PPF.

The CP (Custom Pro) model, no matter the # behind it (92, 94, 95, 96), has ALWAYS had straight back rolls. the gloves in that photo clearly has angled back rolls. PPF, outside of NHL PPFs like Redden, have angled back rolls.

The only reason Redden's gloves say PPF on them is that Eagle has a ton of already embroidered tufftek and portofino material for the small side guard and they are promoting the PPF glove, NOT the CP which is no longer in their line. It is no different than marking an Easton Synergy SE with S17 graphics, allegedly.

Couple of things strike me. CP no longer in the line? Just custom ordered 2 more pair of CP92 pro stocks.

I agree that the retail CP had straight back cuffs, and the PPFs are angled, but I see plenty of pro stocks that break that mold. Some cases in point:

This is the only reason why I disagree. Plenty of visual evidence that suggests a pro stock Eagle can be anything the user wants...and is willing to pay for.
