ccm pattern?

Recommended Posts

need help identifing curve. a few years ago CCM/Forzani in Canada released a 'Vector' with the graphics of the 6 Canadian NHL teams + Washington so I don't know if these were available in the states somewhere, but no indicators of which pattern used and the DB/search was no help

vtc2gt1.jpgvtc1sd3.jpg

the white stick is the Vector VTC

the blue one is a Synergy SL 'Forsberg' for comparison

any help appreciated

given the SL is marked 5, i'd agree the Vector sits at about 6

tho my NBH 'Lindros' is marked 6 and feels like a 5

but against the SL, it's about a 6

note: the pic doesn't quite shown the depth of the curve as it's markedly deeper than the SL

I think they still have those sticks at some Sportchek's, maybe you can find one there, i think it looks like a recchi or datsyuk curve.

yeah you can still see them here too (and online at SportMart)

not looking to find one, just to find out which curve was used

i think it's probably a recchi, but that's a high '5' live and not exactly a round toe + as i said i saw the stick in Wash colors/logo so I thought maybe Ovy.

thanks guys

recchi's lie is more like 5.25

Depends on the stick, some of the cheap ones are all over the place.

recchi's lie is more like 5.25

v10 says 6.

i know its all comparative to what CCM thinks is a 6, and what easton thinks is a 6 etc etc.

if you can get a straight on picture of the white blade i can confirm if its a v10 or not

I'm in the Recchi boat. I'd call the Recchi a 5.5. The square heel on that blade gives the illusion that the lie is higher than it is.

stick was only $80 so pretty sure it's not a v10 :P :) + sportmart doesn't sell high end sticks / bought for graphics only / not to play (tho not out of the question)

just want to know if this could be an actual curve or just 'whatever'

figured if they wanted to use a general pattern they'd choose something more like a 'Forsberg'

Most of the lower end CCM sticks have recchi patterns but they are off. Ovechkin patterns are getting more popular but that's more like a drury.

My recchi's have been an 8.0 and multiple v40s all have been around 5.25 in lie.
