Nike Bauer Supreme One90 Pro Stock Hockey Skates

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of retail one90's and a pair of pro stock filppula's one90's. The difference between them are the tendon guards, extra eyelet, width is narrow, and stiffness.

How could anyone buy pro returns without trying them on ? They could literally be almost any shape. It makes no sense to me.

agreed... also they'll probably not be a standard size. The right skate could be 8.25 and the left 8.75

for the money they're asking its not worth it

I'm currently overseas. No pro shops here. In the early 2000s I got me two pairs of pro stock Bauer 7000 from Cyclone Taylor. They had regular stock last, reg. stifness, doublestitched. Worked great for me.

I guess not a bad deal, but only if you don't have access to an LHS. If you can get fitted, why not go get fitted for the One75's at the same price and know exactly what you're getting?

It doesn't seem like they're selling any mismatched sizes, though.

You don't.

Yep, you don't. In fact, the chances are they the customs won't fit you. Sometimes customs may not even fit the players they're made for. That's why you see them on e-bay often

In my case with pro stock Bauer 7000s, they all had regular stock last, in other words, they were not fitting any different than retail, and I knew my retail size. That's why it worked.

I have a pair of them, and looked at quite a bit of the batch my LHS got into stock. The only difference I found was that weep holes had been drilled into them. I would assume that they were just produced for a certain league and then not purchased or maybe returned after not being needed. But from the 15 or so that I have laid eyes on they are no different from the standard one90 other than weep holes.

Not even doublestitching (reinforced eye row)?

I don't recommend getting pro stock (or any) skates that you haven't tried on. I cracked my old skates and needed skates right away and I got a good deal on an used pair of Matt Cooke ONE90 skates. They were the biggest impulse purchase and regret I have had. They were beat but I got them for cheap. The left boot was much more narrow than the right boot. The right boot fit like butter whereas I was in unimaginable pain in the left boot.

I'm not sure how different they are from retail ONE90's but the only difference I can see is the holder.

Agreed, I have them too. I think the reference to fillipula's skates are customs but the standard package pro stocks have the diamond pattern 4 holes drilled into the bottom.

The filppulas have holes drilled in them to. They are 8.25 d's. I got them straight from the locker room.
