Iggy really is the heart and soul of the Flames, and I have no problem with him being nominated. Ovechkin will win it, but I feel Iginla will come second. I think Malkin's supporting cast takes away some votes, especially how his production before and after Crosby came back.

Same 3 now up for the Pearson. I think Ovechkin gets the 4 trophy sweep.

He already has the richard and the ross, add in the hart and pearson, along with making the playoffs, and it's been a good year for him.

As a caps fan, this year, we saw signs of whats to come if the team plays to their potential. Mix that with the fact that Ovechkin might have 4 major awards, Backstrom us up for the Calder (which I fully expect Kane to win) and Gabby is up for the Adams, you can't help but be optimistic going forward

As a caps fan, this year, we saw signs of whats to come if the team plays to their potential.

After going to a dozen home games this year as a New Yawker, I bought seasons tickets for next year because I see the same signs of brightness. Hell, this team has turned me into a fan because of their offensive style of play. I have seen a lot of games this year across the country (Anaheim, LA, SJ, Minny, TB, Carolina, and a bunch in DC) and the Caps are so much fun to watch. I work in VA at least a week or two a month, and have seen everything that makes them different. From their practice facility at Kettler (I love playing there), to the open practices, to the countless times I have seen various Caps players coming in and out, to ownership and coaching staff involvement and support of the fans, to seeing AO commercials and interviews filmed while at skate and shoot...I commend the Caps organization for putting their fans first. GO CAPS!

Slewfoot Evgeny? Please... Every second place vote should go to Jerome. He was awesome, and has put his team on his shoulders for years. This year was no exception.

I'm not convinced Ovy is the best player in the game, but most valuable? This season, for sure.

ovechkin will take it. iggy a close second, i know malkin did a great job when sid was out but i dont think he will take it. he deserves the nomination though. he will get his chance at a few tropies durring his carreer.

These guys are all pretty much three of my favorite players now that linden is done.
