I don't wear anything special, just a regular white undershirt, my jock (no boxers), and some cotton socks.

I just picked up a UA skullcap. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I'm hoping it will keep the sweat out of my eyes. I wouldn't mind the sweat if I could brush it off, but since I'm wearing a cage, I can't. Anybody else use the UA skullcap or something similar?

My old goalie couldn't play without one, he had long hair though. May be different with a helmet and cage as compared to a goalie helmet.

Tops: really old Nike sleeveless Dri-fits

Bottoms: Shock Doctor compression shorts (really tight fitting!)

Socks: regular cotton ones

I have been wearing a Skins long sleeve top now for almost 4 years. The best under apparel I have tried, which compresses, regulates temp. and wicks away moisture. They hold a unique patent on the compression part as well.

I have JOC pants which are really loose and used just for the velcro sock tabs and moisture management.

wtf have you watched their intro video? Not to be racist but the video says, in plain language, that the african american is better built for sport, more muscular, etc. than others and if you want to be like them...you should wear the skin product...

wtf?!

Usually just a sleeveless t-shirt or no shirt at all and loose fitting gym shorts but after reading some stuff in this thread I'm thinking of trying the UA sleeveless...

Target brand UA-style loose fit top. Works great, 1/3 the price of UA. The key is the poly material, not the name. They are made from exactly the same stuff. UA is overpriced. Having said that, I do wear the UA mesh skullcap under my helmet. Works great for moving the sweat out of my eyes. I can't wipe my face with a cage.

I recently tried on a shirt from McDavid that had the built in rib padding but found the material of the shirt to be a little too thick. The padding seemed pretty good and wrapped around to the back as well. I was also thinking about the RBK triple impact shirt. Just looking for some feedback from anyone that has used the McDavid padded shirts or anything similar. I need something with some rib padding.

Shock Doctor has a wicking shirt with a special "foam" around the ribs. I would check it out. I am looking for the name, but if I cant find I will let you know later as we have them at the shop.

Also, take a look at the zoombang shirt. Pretty cool concept behind it. I have one and the shirt is very thin.
