I'm hoping teams will be scared by the lack of transfer agreement and Filatov falls to Number 10 for the Canucks. We definitely need some more offensive flare.

I think he'll either go 7th to the Leafs, 8th to Coyotes or definitly 9th to the Preds if he somehow falls that far.

I think the Leafs pick will come down to him or Beach.

I think Boedker will go top 10 for sure. I am praying that Carlson falls to the Wild, and if not hopefully Gardiner is still there. Hopefully they pick a D-man....

Whats everyone thinking about beach? Could go high but he does have some injury problems aswell as his temper problems. I have personally played against a few of the guys in the top 50 and he definately has the talent but his temper may be his down fall. Any thoughts?

It should be a glorious night, thanks my Lightning getting Stamkos. As far as the Kings are concerned, I like their selecting another top defensive prospect and predict success for them in the future. Btw, isn't there some concern that Filiatov won't be able to make it out of Russia?

A ton of places have the kings taking Bogosian. I guess you really cant go wrong with him and Doughty but the Kings may just do something crazy like last year. I don't know anyone who thought they would take Hickey.

Word out of Ottawa is that he is taking offers for #2 and that Pittsburgh and a few other teams have been calling about it. Also that Malkin is being shopped.

Last I heard Gino was talking LT contract with Pit.

There has been so much conflicting information that you can't believe any of it.

They're talking long term deal - They're looking to move him

He'll take a discount to stay because he loves it - He's looking for $9M+

The truth is, the team should be exploring all of their options.

On the Malkin issue. What was heard was that its a money issue but Malkins agent doesnt know anything about it and that with them not having a pick in the first few rounds they are trying to move up and testing the market.

Concerning LA. No teams are for sure known but they are taking calls and listening. Apparently theyvehad 2 legit offers for the pick outright and one to move down.

The thing about trading Malkin is that he has so much value that I don't think many teams could put a good enough package together to get him. The Kings however do have enough young talent but i doubt the huge overpayment it would take to get him would be worth losing so much.

I see LA being a force in a few years when all of their young talent develops (kinda like the Pens 3 years ago). They may not have a Crosby on the team but Kopitar, O'Sullivan, Brown, Johnson, Hickey, Bernier and Doughty/Bogosian are amazing pieces to build on.
