gelowitz 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 I always liked the celebration Bobby Orr would do on occasion, which was basically, not celebrate.
Smitty34 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Some of those were pretty clever, but most of them would get that guy cracked during the game.
JJ Thompson94 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 I liked the shoeshining one and the picture one. Never seen those before.
chk hrd 164 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 unless it's a game winning goal in a crucial game you should just keep skating. If some guy celebrates like that from just an ordinary goal he is probably going to get his head handed to him sometime during the game.
legiahockey 3 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 i like the picture one. i always wanted to get the 4 players to line up side by side and have one shoot them with there stick and have em drop. hahah that would start a fight for sure
dcdot377 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 in friday night liights the movie the other team in the championship did that after the touch down except it was the whole team and it was a movie
WhiskeyTango19 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 There shouldn't even be a thread on how to gloat. There are two ways to celebrate after a goal. Raise your hands in the air, or skate away and act like you've been there before. Gloating should not be an option. It is douchebaggery of the highest level. raygunpk 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 Yep, it's just one of those things that are funny to see, but you should never do it in a game. Like pulling those under the leg sweep shots in a real game.

SuperMan3 1 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 I usually just cheer if I score, but I've been a douche bag and have done push ups to a team I absolutely hated
qmechanic 17 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks raygunpk! I'm playing in a laid back summer league, so I'll try to work one of these celebrations in. :P
P5man 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 i never do any big celebrations in a game but it's always fun to do some in practice. favorites are: laying down and bench pressing your stick, knighting a teammate, and snow angels
Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 Sydney Crosby's one is simple and quick. I've seen some guys do it, only on really nice goals. You wouldn't do it on a rebound etc unless it was a big game or tight scores.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 A funny little video I found on celebrations: I like the team oriented NFL style ones.I'm a big fan of not being a douchebag at the rink. We've also had more than a few of these topics over the years.
