Easton S11 stick

Recommended Posts

Anybody have any experience in using this stick?

I have been considering it, i just broke my synergy SC6 (which i hated) so im in the market for a new stick.

How would it compare to a synergy elite (which i also had about 6 months ago before it tragically broke)?

thanks in advance,

Brian

its a 2nd tier stick in the new stealth line. The SE is the top stick in the Synergy line. So the SE will be much better than the s11 due to the fact that its a top of the line stick. Im using a SE right now and I love it, it just loads so easily for me.

I use a 2 peice mission pro-stock v-hex2 with a prostock blade, pretty light (especially for the bargin price i got it for) blade heavy, but I've seen more un-balanced sticks than mine (but I prefer a little blade heavy). I'm thankful I went for a 2 peice, as i broke a blade in the first half of the first game I used it <_<

In other words, I love mission stuff, and 2 peice sticks

PS: as for stick reccomendations, I have no idea

Yeah I use a Warrior pro stock dolomite tapered shaft that I got from HM. It's great really light. I have the polar fibre version. Absolutely love it. I think I have about 3 of them now. I just keep buying them every paycheck because who knows when they'll stop selling the polar fibre ones.

Keep in mind that the newest line of Eastons is an 85 flex after cutting it a couple inches. The older 85's will be that flex when purchased.

explane please

On the new easton stuff, and maybe some other brands, sticks are sold as having a little more flex than what is marked on the shaft. A stick marked 85 would actually be an 80 or so. That way, when people cut the stick down, as most people have to do, they end up with a flex closer to what they purchased. There are lines on the butt end the show what the flex would be if you cut it at X spot.

A couple people on here have surmised that this also makes the sticks more attractive to people, because it gives the stick a little more kick (because it's a slightly lower flex). You think "wow, this 85 flex Stealth gives way more pop to my wrist shots than my 85 flex dolo does." The reason for this is not because the Stealth is the superior stick (it may or may not be, i'm not trying to argue for or against that), but that it's a little lighter flex, so it gives you a better wrist shot. It's actually a really clever marketing technique.
