Going to Disneyworld

Recommended Posts

The family is going to Disneyworld in florida in a few weeks and Im wondering where to go for a couple 21 year olds... We dont want to go to the micky mouse part of the place but what about epcot center or the studios? Is there enough there to keep us occupied all day or will we be bored after just a few hours? For the price that it is to get into those places if were not there all day then it will be a waste of money.. I live at the beach so sitting at the beach all day isnt really going to be very fun.

How about Busch gardens in Tampa or going over to Daytona?

The house we have is in Palm Bay Florida if anyone is familiar with the area..

Busch Gardens was my favorite part when I went. They have a lot of coasters, cool animals, and I think there was a brewery or something to tour (I was 13 so I didn't salivate over it like I would now).

Also water parks, how could you not have fun at those?

Disney has a SHATLOAD of things to do. If you get a hopper pass, it'll let you go to multiple parks in one day. You may want to go to Studios and Epcot the most, as they are more geared towards adults. The other two parks are still pretty fun though. There are also 2 water parks you can go to with the hopper pass.

If you golf they have some courses there that are really nice. Downtown Disney is another cool place to go. During the day, it's pretty much just shops, but at night, all the clubs open. There are several different dance clubs and a comedy club.

Universal Studios is also nearby. They have two different parks, but I prefer Islands of Adventure to the original. Seaworld is also in the same area.

Have a great time!

Pleasure Island's clubs are open til Sept 28, they are closing them down and building more stores.

Universal/IOA > Disney for young adults/people who like rollercoasters.

Dunno, you COULD go to drop-in at RDV, LOL

I've always felt the day you stop having fun at Disneyland is the day you're too old. I've gone close to ten times throughout my life and have enjoyed each trip.

Blizzard Beach has a lot of waterslides and stuff, and Typhoon Lagoon has a huge wavepool, thats mostly all I remember because the last time I went was in grade 5 ( six years ago). MGM studios was good too, tower of terror and the rockin roller coaster were fun. But really, everyplace has a few good rides for the older crowd, aside from Animal Kingdom, that kinda sucked.

I really wanted to hit a waterpark and ya'll answered my questions on which places had the coasters and stuff for the older crowd. Sounds like we'll go to Universal and one of those waterparks. Busch gardens probobly as well.

How far is the rink JR?

I'm too old, I have no idea who that is. :P

It's Superman in tattered costume, holding Cap's shield and Thor's hammer, standing as the last line of defense for the universe against Krona. The fact that you're reading this now is testament that Supes triumphed.... ;)
