phantomowner27 20 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 After talking to a couple reps, the word is that the new 7k (white model) will not be produced and released. I inquired because I noticed they had them on the rbkhockey.com site but not on any of the online retailers or LHS. He thought that because the new U+ was in high demand, they're going to put the effort into producing more U+ and cut the 7k completely (makes sense since the 7k is lower end compared to u+)Just wanted to see if anyone heard the same thing. JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted August 6, 2008 Talking about the skate...My feeling is that it had nothing to do with that and everything to do with the fact that dealers were not interested in the white. The closeout 9kW can be had at the same price point the 7ks would have been at. Not only that, U+ is a Canadian-made skate and I'm pretty positive 7k is Chinese.
