Elbow pad hunt

Recommended Posts

I've searched all over and I can only find 9025s in a size small online and I can't find them anywhere locally.

Is there any current elbow pad that fits like this in the bicep area? Just the "tab" more or less, instead of some sort of bicep wrap.

There is a whole box of them on clearance at the LHS nearby..I got my size 6 Jofa 9025s for $15..

Maybe you could look at the RBK version of the same pad..I'm not sure what the difference really is.

Why is a size 6 Jofa shoulder a large yet a size 6 Jofa elbow supposedly a large but proportionally much larger than the comparable size 6 Jofa shoulder?

I have no idea, but my elbows are too small for my biceps..well...they fit but the friggin velcro middle strap needs to be moved to fit around my biceps..I suppose I can get that done at a shoe shop..Just gotta go and do it unless Forbs (MN girls equip manager) can help me out :)

there actually isn't a rbk equivalent of that pad - they all have bicep protection

If you can't find the 9025s, just find something that you like and cut the top off. In most cases you can do it without having any lingering issues. Pads with elastic straps holding the bicep cuff make the least amount of mess.

Looks like that's what I'll probably have to do. I'm OCD with things touching my wrists(weird, I know), so I'd always tuck my jersey into the top of them. That's a big part of the reason I'd like a replacement.
