We also 'claimed' the slingshot. The one they use on the ice during intermission. We used to do it at the rink after hours, but with a few twists. Instead of attaching it to the hinges of the closest bench door, we'd do it from the next one. Also, we would Zam a strip right in the middle of the ice and put foam Border Patrol boards at the end of the ice. No lie, we would propel people at 50 mph down the ice...

The Oiler chicks are outstanding.

Seeing as that its a team based on the oilfields, they are called something like the Oil crew.

They have a friggin cannon to launch the t shirts. That thing hits the bleeders from on the ice.

They also have a sling shot, which the male helpers reef back on. The eye candy they hire aren't overly large or strong enough. Thankfully.

They use those pneumatic guns here. Sometimes they bring out the slingshots and stand at center ice and barely make it over the glass. Its funny as hell when they miss.

Yeah, it was crazy. When they do it at NHL games they go slow because the ice is choppy, however, with our smooth strip of ice (you need the sides to be unsurfaced because it takes abot 10 people to pull the slingshot all the way to the crease, where we used to take off from) we fly down the strip. And flip in the air when you hit the foam boards.

EDIT: I don't miss Long Island one bit. I've said it before and I'll say it again...NY/LI has some ugly women...
