HawksHockey10 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2008 Hey guys. I ordered a pair of skates from Bauer 3 months ago and I don't know what happened to the order so I cancelled it. I have to custom order skates though because my feet are an entire size and a half different from each other. I want to order the S15's from Easton because they fit my feet great. The WSHL season starts in less than a month and I need new skates, my old One90s are falling apart. Is there an Easton rep on this site that I could order from or does anyone here have the email address of an Easton rep near Dallas that you could give me? It would be great if I could some how get these skates within three weeks. If anyone could help me it would be great
JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted August 24, 2008 I'm willing to be the shop dropped the ball on your NBH order taking 3 months to complete. I did 4 custom orders within the past two months and they took 6 wks to complete. What store in Dallas? Also, Easton doesn't do custom skates at the retail level. JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted August 25, 2008 Interesting, both the Director of Sales and the Skate Product Manager said that doing custom skates through a retail outlet wasn't a viable option for them right now.
HawksHockey10 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2008 I talked to a pro rep and he said it would take ten to twelve weeks from him to get a custom order and I talked to a retail rep who can get me a pair that is not a custom order, just two different sizes of the skate in a month so it looks like I will be doing the second one.give Easton's customer service a call, im sure theyll direct you to somewhere you can be helped :)The guy at the hockey store I was at called Easton direct to see what they could do and all they could say was, "Tell him to buy two pairs of skates." What a joke haha

DEATHTRON 19 Report post Posted August 26, 2008 I know the rep, your chances of getting them are slim. Instead, go to the hockey shop in lewisville OR the one at NYTEX. They seem to be the only somewhat competent guys around DFW for custom skates...I am hoping in the near future someone with some good knowledge comes to the metroplex....near future.Zach

HawksHockey10 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2008 I'm calling BS on this.Hopefully it is not.I know the rep, your chances of getting them are slim. They seem to be the only somewhat competent guys around DFW for custom skates...I am hoping in the near future someone with some good knowledge comes to the metroplex....near future.ZachThe shop in Lewisville is who made my order with the Bauers that have taken more than three months now, and they have no knowledge at all of what is going on with the skate. And I'm not really looking for a full custom order as much as I just need to different retail size skates if you know what I mean.I don't see why it would be so hard to take to pairs of a skate out of a box and to make a replacement skate for each of those boxes. It can't possibly take that long to make a skate.
JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted August 27, 2008 The Easton rep in Dallas is both the retail and pro rep, so how was it possible to talk to two different people?
HawksHockey10 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2008 The Easton rep in Dallas is both the retail and pro rep, so how was it possible to talk to two different people?I don't know. I'm not arguing with you guys. I was just telling you what happened at the store. I don't personally know any of these reps that you guys might know.
