The best mcd's sandwich is the southwest chicken, I have to change my pants after each one.

One thing I dream of coming here is taco johns I think it was called, my shit had horns in the morning but the $4 meal took years off my life.

the southern style chicken is a good attempt at knocking off Chick-fil-a sandwich, right down to the pickles, but I'll take chick fil a over Mickey-D's any day of the week and twice on sunday

from what I gather so far though, certain locations are open on Sundays... buddy of mine just relocated to Raleigh and there's a nearby mall, and he swears the CFA is open on Sundays.

I think I need to take the 30 minute ride to Burlington, MA for some CFA. The McDonald's Southern Chicken is an acceptable substitute, but the waffle fries, and nuggets are irreplaceable. Polynesian sauce?

Chipotle's are popping up here in Massachusetts like crazy now. I like it a lot, but they only advantage they have on Moe's is the Mr. Pibb... Ok, I'm done with the fat guy rant. haha...

Speaking of wishing for regional chains to expand locations, I have been patiently waiting for Sonic to come to Connecticut since they started running commercials here at least 3 years ago. Those from the west or south; is Sonic really as good as it looks?

No, standalone CFAs don't open on Sundays. Maybe the mall ones do.

Couldn't tell you. I've been seeing Sonic commercials for at least three years too, and I've yet to even see a Sonic.

If you order "iced tea" in many States you get brewed/chilled tea, right.

If want (what we call) iced tea you order "sweet tea".

Speaking of Chicken though...had Popeyes for the first time a couple weeks ago. The Col. will get no more of my money.

Iced tea is unsweetened.

Order sweet tea north of the Mason-Dixon line and you get iced tea with two packs of sugar.

Popeyes is da bomb man...that's my joint!

New Orleans Spicy + Cajun Fries... Heavenly. I miss working next to a Popeye's.

Also, I ate a burger at a Sonic in NJ in my travels with my last band... I swear I had dysentery. I broke out in fever, sweats, horrible stuff going "North & South" for about 11 hours. I haven't come to the conclusion if it was Sonic, or NJ... so I've decided to avoid both.

In a conversation containing CFA, Bojangles, and other quality establishments how in the world did Sonic get into the mix? Not even in the same ballpark. :(

And to set it straight......CFA was founded by a die hard christian, and like a lot of establishments south of the Mason Dixon or in the heart of the "bible belt"......the corporate stand on business is to NOT be open on Sunday's.

Blame theWB... he brought Sonic, I was just warning everyone. The CFA in Massachusetts (a mall location) is closed every Sunday... I'm just going on what my friend said about them being open.... then again, he's done a lot of drugs in his hey-day.

The founder (Truett Cathy) is indeed very religious. They also prefer to have only owners with deeply Christian values. If nothing else, CFA has stayed with its owners vision! I also think they make a better chicken sandwich than McDonalds. Plus, they have cole slaw!
