Two things, UA visor and new u+ skates?

Hey guys,

For those who reply with "use the search function, or search is my best friend", sorry... But two things, 1) The Under Armour visor is pretty nice.. The quality of the visor is exceptional and the straight cut fits much nicer (tighter lines/cut) than the oakley and itech visors.. Just for those who see the visor online, it looks huge in the pictures but it is not so.. Visor has a slight reflective look which looks very nice and not the "douchbaggery" style of the itech mirrored visor.. Check it out!!

Also, did anyone hear or see the new version of the u+ skates? Being an owner of the U+ skates, i love them however they material starts to bubble on the outside and I seen another players skates at my LHS and they were all messed up... CCM claims that this "bubbling" of the fabric/foam shouldn't happen, but there is this new version of the skate which changed the u+ foam to another type of fabric more like the V08 skate and also they tongue is felt which is different from the original.. THus for anyone looking to get new u+ skates, check these out.. Also, has anyone else heard or seen this new version?

Yes, the U+ has gone through some changes, so the outter material won't bubble now unlike with the first batches.

I think I mentioned it before here.... I just took it out of the box, and it looked horrible. Obviously screwed with your vision, but it had an aweful glare- not sure if it was the store lights or not, but I bought my Oakley at the same Sports Authority and didn't recall the nasty glare when I looked at it.

The UA visor magnifies your vision?? Really? I didn't notice that.. I'll put my helmet on and see if there's a difference, but that would we weird if it does.. Hey, has anyone ever purchased any equipment from Dan-Dee-Deals from ebay? I ordered a tinted oakley visor pro straight from the guy and he tells me that the visor he sent was lost in the mail and he sent out another one... Weird?? Let's just hope it gets here, and I'll compare the two..

Yeah, with the u+ skates, I think we should get an exchange on the skates for the bubbling..

Take an UA visor and an Oakley visor and stick them in front of your eyes and move it up and down. You will see the difference.

I compared the visor with an itech visor and as of right now, I don't really see a difference as in if there is any magnification, it is the same as the itech visor.. Why all the hate on the UA visor, boys??

There's no hate for them, they're just stating the facts. I could definitely notice something funky/off with the optics of the UA visor when I checked it out in my pro shop

DAN-DEE-DEALS, from what I have seen from his listings, is extremely overpriced. Later,
