ST Shaft- loose blade fitting?

Recommended Posts

My bro just bought a ST shaft of ebay, every blade we have put in is very loose, to the point it can be pulled out with minimal effort. We have used tape and extra glue and they are still loose. As anyone had problems with their ST shaft, we have used ultra lites in the past with no problem.

Thanks

What's tapered mean?

one of the blades is a ST, so you'd think it would fit a ST shaft. Is it possible to have purcahsed a defective shaft?

Tapered shafts are a couple millimeters smaller than standard shafts and are meant to only fit in tapered shafts or OPSs that have been cut down. The Easton ST shaft takes only "standard" blades. ST blade is standard so it should fit, but then again maybe something is wrong with your shaft. Bring it into your LHS.
