firehawkshockey13 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 5'2 100-105 pounds 13 years oldright now i have a easton synergy se shaft and an old 05 z-carbon blade. i'm thinking about getting a new stick for christmas. I have always used easton but those nike bauer sticks have caught my eye esp. the xxxx. i take wrist shots most of the time so i'm looking for something well balenced and with a low kick. should i get the xxxx or the se16 or the new synergy st? dangle 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 It's all PP really when it comes to brand. Read the reviews on each of these sticks here on the site and search some
Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 For me I only care about curve, grip and flex, those are the main three variables that drive my decision. Brand isn't a concern, I'd use Aldi brand sticks if they filled my needs.
MacDaddyDanny 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 personally, having used only easton and warrior.....the vapor XXXX feels a little blade heavy compared to my SE's and my Warriors. but it's all PP
noodle3872 40 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 I've been a faithful Easton user since the original Ultra Lite shaft came out. I currently have a Stealth CNT. I recently was given a Pro Stock NBH XXX Lite made for one of the Chilliwack Bruin players. I liked the feel of the stick when handling the puck. My shot was not too bad but the stick is a 102 flex so it's too stiff for me, I prefer 85 flex in my Easton OPS. It makes me eager to try the new Vapor XXXX or One95.Mike
duch 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2008 Again a personal preference issue. Love the Easton sticks but heard good things about the Nike/Bauer offerings. Newest RBK OPS sticks are getting great reviews as well.
