Were you working at Westwood last night?

Nope..have wed and thurs off this week :)

Hey, can you check to see if you guys have any 75 RH flex MacDaddy's in? I saw on the site they are blowing them out @ 75$, but had a way limited selection on there. I'm getting a new twig tomorrow, was going to get a One95, but w/ the mac's being that cheap I can't pass that up.

We don't have any 75 flex at all and i think the only 85 flex left is a RH kovalev. It might be worth calling the Apple Valley store to see what they have though.

well, sitting in the airport in denver trying to get back home. my great skate adventure has now come to an end. after purchasing a defective pair online i figured i'd physically see the pair i get. so this morning i headed to the store and got my 703's. they were in the narrow and didn't seem to have any defects. they actually fit very nicely. i'm sure i just got a bum pair earlier in the week when i received them, but needed a getaway. now ive got to send those back. i'm sure i'll be happy with the new ones, although i wanted the newer pair with the carbon/plastic outsole. i just got the regular ones with the white outsole. i'll try the graf holders, but have some new tuuks on standby just in case. after thinking about it, vancouver was a little far to fly when i'm sure toronto area would have been a lot closer with more stores. my next pair i'm skipping all the bullcrap and going custom bauers.

Like I said before, if you can work with JR. Go for it. Eric should have done the same, rather than buying S15s buy the truckload.

Try Hockey Central In Blaine, MN It is only hockey at this shop and they do it well. It's great owners and great staff. They are a block away from the super rink and they also run the super rink pro shop and are affiliated fully with the National Sports Center.

For any others considering Twin Cities shops, I think Westwood Sports (best for sharpening/profiling) in Bloomington or Apple Valley, Strauss Skates in Maplewood, or Dave's Sport Shop in Blaine are the best in terms of stock and customer service. I'm not too familiar with the west side shops though.
