Super Feet Yellow and Grey

Recommended Posts

Is there any performance advantage to the new Yellow vs. the old Grey

Yellow fits better in more skates with the wider toe.

It has a better top sheet with the vent holes.

Overall its just technical differences!

also yellow supposed to be trimmed to fit

Somehow I never had to do that with grey - size F (I think or maybe E) was right on for Bauer size 9, but with yellow (same size) I had to cut quite a bit

important thing to note - don't just use stock footbed as a model for cutting superfeet - I did it for One95 (just like the manual suggested - traced the stock insole over superfeet & trimmed) & realized that there's a small space between the toecup & the insole near where pinkie is

Initially I though I did it wrong, but apparently it's the same with the stock insoles - but since they're thinner it doesn't become so apparent right away

If I'm not mistaken gray was supposed to be trimmed as well. You probably noticed it more on your new yellows because the yellow is wider in the toe area to accomodate more skate footbeds (mainly wide widths).

Like the previous poster said, only differences are the holes, the top fabric, and wider toe area.
