Beflar

Compression shorts/jock combo etc

Recommended Posts

personally i wouldn't suggest the compression short jocks.... frequently they tear or warp depending on your body type, and that can lead to a brutal fit. for anyone having any hip flexor/groin strain issues, go with a "bike brand" compression short and throw a basic mesh jock or garder belt over top. you'll notice a world of difference.

i 2:nd that.. Compression shorts that includes a cup, does not work properly. A compression short will only do it's job if it's fit really really tight everywhere. A short with built in cup will do nothing to support the groin area.

The built in cup's also suck.. They are way to shallow. A direct hit from a slapshot on senior/adult level will leave your parents without grandkids guaranteed.

Reebok 10K and 7K/8K are the only cups worth the name on the market.

Anyone use the Reebok 9K compression shorts? Or the 6K? I tried the 6K on in the recommended size and it felt a little tight. I'de like some groin support so I was wondering if this is the way to go.

stupid question, but do you guys wear boxers underneath compression jock short combos??

I have a pair of the Warrior Nutt Hutt compression shorts/jock combo. Seems ok. But, I have nothing to compare it to.

I just wear a basic "compression style" underwear from like Hanes or Jockey under my WSI pants. As for my cup I hate the pouch the pants have. I just wear a regular jock over them.
