Patrick Marleau's RBK gloves

I was checking out some stats and a picture of Patrick Marleau came up, and I noticed his gloves. They're RBK Tacks. I've never seen a pair of RBK gloves like this. Are these Marleau's/team custom gloves, or is this a glove that the public can/will be able to get ahold of? I love RBK's gloves, but am a bigger fan of the 4 role style of gloves. So these would be exactly what I'm looking for.

I like the 4 roll style too. hockeymonkey has some pro stock gloves like that, but whether they are in stock or not is another story. but they have a couple different teams/colors

Yea I saw those, I looked them up after I saw the pic. I was contemplating grabbig a pair, but don't know how they're gunna fit. I've noticed RBK's glove have gotten smaller (I have an older pair of 5k glvoes in 13" and a new pair of 6k's in 14" and they fit exactly the same). Is this going to be a production glove for 09 possibly, or just a team/custom order glove?

in my opinion (i may be wrong) i think they\'re basically.. the CCM 892 Tacks (top) or Pro Tacks (bottom) with RBK graphics..and i\'m only saying that b/c he used these for a looong time.

but Marleau\'s seem to be a custom glove.. b/c I haven\'t seen that colorway (with the teal/orange outline of the RBK/CCM logo) in retail gloves.. i\'ve seen them in prostock easton and bauer.. but not CCM or RBK.

A lot of NHLers are in that glove. All of the CCM converts.

I didn't mean that particular color scheme, just the golve in general. In older pics he has CCM gloves, so I wouldn't doubt theyre just CCM Tacks with RBK logos/graphics stitched on. But hockey monkey has pro stocks of them, which means more than one person uses them, so mayb RBK is coming out with some in the future?

RBK and CCM are basically one in the same.. they're the same company.. hence why there's the "CCM converts" that used to use CCM but now use RBK or use a good mix of both (CCM bucket.. RBK pants..CCM gloves.. RBK skate.. RBK stick.. etc.)

it's how Nike and Bauer used to be..except they chose to be 2 separate entities.

There are guys wearing that "RBK Tacks" glove all over the NHL, CHL, and NCAA. There are also a few places they're available online, see below.

There's only a handful of guys in a CCM-branded glove, pretty much the MAIN endorsers and a few guys here and there wearing old stock, but guys are being pushed in the Reebok brand instead, going as far as supplying that 4-roll for them.

They did it last year, they had Vector and only the marquee guys in it.

same here. Was thinking heres a great scorer having a great year who could use anything he wants and is using a UL 2 piece.
