LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Police said they recovered six bodies from a Los Angeles house where a man dressed as Santa Claus fired gunshots and started a fire Christmas Eve.

Police said the suspect, Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, committed suicide after the attack.

Police said three others, Pardo's ex-mother-in-law, ex-father-in-law and ex-wife, whom he recently divorced -- are still unaccounted for.

At a news conference Thursday, police in Covina, California, said Pardo knocked on the door of his ex-in-law's home, where there was a Christmas party attended by more than 25 people.

After someone opened the door, an 8-year-old girl ran towards the costumed Pardo who shot her in the face, police said.

Whether it be survivors or relatives or whoever. Let him really see the amount of damage he has done. Sick effing bastard.

Don't underestimate the depths of human depravity.

I'm a firm believer that the media shouldn't report the names of the animals that do these things. Giving them the attention they seem to desire, even posthumously, just doesn't seem right to me.

One last thing; If anyone reading this is thinking of killing a bunch of other people and then themself, just skip to the last step and save everyone else a little heartache.

In my fairy tale head I guess having it sit there and justify its reasons for doing what it did to the family of these people would seem a good start. From there we send it to prison and make it live out its days in solitary confinement or something.
